Virnig Manufacturing, Inc. products are warranted to be free from defects, in workmanship, for one year from the end user’s date of purchase.

Purchased components on Virnig Manufacturing, Inc. products are subject to the warranty of the original manufacturer.

This warranty is void on products and repaired without the prior consent of Virnig Manufacturing, Inc. This includes disassembling motors, bearing adapters, cylinders, etc.

Virnig Manufacturing, Inc. does not warrant damage from misuse, accidents or negligence nor damage to the machine or surrounding environment.

Claims are limited to replacement parts and a reasonable labor amount. This warranty does not cover service mileage, downtime or replacement of attachment.

Upon request for warranty claim an RGA number will be assigned and replacement part sent prepaid ground freight and invoiced.

Defective parts need to be returned prepaid to Virnig Manufacturing, Inc. for warranty consideration.

Upon inspection, account will be credited for defective part. Please call Virnig Manufacturing at (320) 393-7080 with any questions regarding warranty.

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY PERIOD FOR PARTS AND ATTACHMENTS?

All Virnig parts and attachments are warranted for one year from the end user’s date of purchase, or the dealer’s date of first rental/demonstration. If the warranty period has expired, a sales receipt or first rental slip will be required for warranty consideration.

CAN I STILL RECEIVE COVERAGE AFTER MY WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED?

Virnig customer service and troubleshooting is always available to customers regardless of when the attachment warranty terms have expired. Some scenarios may require extra investigation including: limited or seasonal use of attachment preventing the customer noticing the defect, providing a reasonable time frame to submit a claim after expiration of the warranty, and other situations which may be out of the customer’s control. However, Virnig reserves the right to deny all claims submitted beyond expiration.

SHOULD I CONTACT VIRNIG DIRECTLY FOR WARRANTY AUTHORIZATION?

Virnig customers should contact their local dealer to begin the warranty authorization process. Customers may submit a warranty claim with Virnig directly, but will likely be directed to a local dealer in order to support the attachment quickly and effectively.

HOW FAST CAN VIRNIG PROVIDE REPLACEMENT PARTS UNDER WARRANTY?

Virnig carries most parts in stock to ship as early as the same day. For parts that are not readily available, a reasonable lead time should be expected. All parts authorized for coverage under warranty will be shipped by the method of Virnig’s choosing. A customer may request to upgrade method of shipment, but will be responsible for all charges beyond the original method chosen by Virnig.

WILL I PAY ANY FREIGHT COSTS FOR MY WARRANTY CLAIM?

All parts authorized for warranty coverage will be shipped at no cost by the method of Virnig’s choosing. A customer may request to upgrade the shipment method, but will be responsible for all charges beyond the original method chosen by Virnig. If a part is returned at Virnig’s request but fails inspection, freight on any replacement parts will be charged, but return freight for the inspected part(s) will not be charged.

WHAT TYPES OF DAMAGE/FAILURE DOES VIRNIG COVER? CAN I HAVE WHOLE ATTACHMENT REPLACED?

Virnig warrants all attachments and parts to be free from defects in workmanship. Neglect, failure to regularly service the attachment as outlined in the product manual, damage not caused by part failure, misuse, accidents, and damage to the machine or surrounding environment, will not be covered. Depending on the type of damage, it may be necessary to return the attachment to Virnig for repair. Virnig does not cover rental or replacement fees for the interim. In the event that the attachment has failed beyond repair, Virnig may replace the entire attachment.

WILL VIRNIG COVER THE WARRANTY ON MY ATTACHMENT IF I HAVE FIXED IT WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION?

All parts must be returned intact to qualify for coverage, and in most cases complete replacement of the part is a better long term solution than repair. For these reasons, warranty coverage will be voided on all products and components that have been modified or repaired without the prior consent of Virnig Manufacturing.

WILL MY WARRANTY BE VOIDED IF I INSTALL AFTERMARKET PARTS?

Attachment warranty is not voided by the use of aftermarket parts unless the parts affect the original structure/function of the attachment or cause a failure to occur in the attachment. Material and labor costs incurred from the use of parts not authorized by Virnig Manufacturing (including hoses and couplers) will not be covered.

DOES VIRNIG WORK WITH SPECIFIC AUTHORIZED REPAIR SHOPS?

Only repair shops in dealerships which sell Virnig Attachments are authorized to make repairs. Some circumstances may dictate that the customer cannot bring their attachment to a Virnig dealer. In these cases, it is required to contact Virnig directly for authorization before proceeding with any repairs.

DOES THE WARRANTY TRANSFER IF I AM NOT THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER?

Yes, the warranty is valid, regardless of owner, for one year from the first end user’s date of purchase, or the dealer’s date of first rental/demonstration. It is recommended to register the attachment with new customer information via the Register a Virnig product link.
